Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CartMetrica LLC (“CartMetrica,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit www.cartmetrica.com (the “Site”) or use our marketing technology, content, and conversion-rate-optimization services (the “Services”).
CartMetrica LLC is a Texas limited liability company with its principal office at 2100 Lakeside Blvd, Ste 160, Richardson, TX 75082, United States.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
a. Information you provide directly
- Contact details (name, business name, email address, phone number) submitted through contact forms or email.
- Engagement and billing information shared with us when you become a client.
- Communications you send us (support requests, feedback, correspondence).
b. Information we access on your behalf via Google Ads API
When a client authorizes CartMetrica to manage their Google Ads account on their behalf, we access the client's own Google Ads data through the Google Ads API. This may include:
- Google Ads account configuration, campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, and assets.
- Performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions, cost, and ROAS.
- Audience and conversion-tracking settings configured by the client.
- Billing summaries needed to evaluate spend efficiency.
We access this data only as an authorized agency acting on behalf of the client whose account it is. We do not access end-user personally identifiable information through the Google Ads API beyond what Google itself exposes to advertisers (e.g., aggregated performance data).
c. Information collected automatically on the Site
- Standard log data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps).
- Cookies and similar technologies used to operate the Site and measure traffic.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and improve our Services.
- To manage Google Ads campaigns, reporting, and optimization on behalf of clients who have engaged us as their agency.
- To respond to inquiries, contracts, invoices, and support requests.
- To maintain the security and integrity of our systems.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Google Ads API data for any purpose other than providing agency services to the client whose account it is.
3. Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy
CartMetrica's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we do not use Google Ads API data to serve advertising of our own, and we do not transfer or sell that data to third parties for advertising, market research, or unrelated purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
All data we process, including data obtained through the Google Ads API, is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure located in the United States. We apply industry-standard safeguards, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- Access controls limited to authorized CartMetrica personnel on a need-to-know basis.
- OAuth-based authentication for Google Ads API access — we never store client Google account passwords.
- Routine review of access logs and security configurations.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Sharing of Information
We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: infrastructure providers (such as Amazon Web Services), hosting (such as Vercel), and analytics tools that operate the Site and our internal tools under contractual obligations of confidentiality.
- With the client whose data it is: we share reports, dashboards, and account access with the client who authorized us to manage their account.
- Legal requirements: when required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality protections.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal and contractual obligations, and resolve disputes. When a client engagement ends, Google Ads API access is revoked and we delete or anonymize associated client account data within a reasonable period unless retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to revoke CartMetrica's authorized access to your Google Ads account, contact us at [email protected]. You may also revoke our access at any time directly via your Google Account permissions page.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International Users
CartMetrica is based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or by email where appropriate.
